Basic Network Troubleshooting









If a computer is failed to connect to a network because of the following reasons:


1. The Network Interface Card is not connected properly.
2. The Coaxial Cable is unplugged.
3. Block by the firewall that prevent computers to connect in the internet.
4. Bad network settings.
5. Incompatible network card drivers.

Solutions:

1. Make sure that the Network Interface Card is connected properly. The Network Interface Card is located inside the Central Processing Unit(CPU).

2. Plug the coaxial cable.

3. Allow firewall to connect in the internet. Go to start menu/control panel/windows firewall/change settings/turn off windows firewall.

4. In this case, please contact your network administrator or your Internet Service Provider(ISP).

5. Install the appropriate network card drivers in your PC.
